I heart Xmas!
What about you?
Anywho, we met fab SAs today from all 3 stores.
Which explains the splurge from the man.
Impress him enough and you can hear kaching not far away!

So there, meet my #3.
I swear I am officially on bag-ban for the rest of my working
Thanks to the ever-so-kind HB, i can finally bring my NDS and a paperback out again.
So here it is:
My 09 Red Maxi Flap in Caviar

The red is in a lovely shade of fuchsia!

Meet the recent enquired family of mine
In case you are grumbling (if u have one) and wondering (if ur thinking of getting one) how well a medium flap works, meet my black doubleflap lambskin i used for work these days:
Am not joking when i said i can even put in an apple for my daily 4.30pm snack.

bundled nicely along with the rest of my life
- Mood:
happy
To date, i have recently acquired:
1: Medium white caviar double flap which i lovingly called The #1
2: Classic CC ear studs
3: Matching CC pendant
4: Camellia jellies from last year collection.
(Yes, all thanks to a friend who manage to dig this from the States)

its time to pay another visit to my current fav pedicurist!
Next up:
1: A Jumbo and i will name it #2 (for obvious reason)
2: A Cambon tote in python double Cs
3: Can i request for another pair of jellies? Coz its so comfortable u can run in them.
4: Well, if not their mary jane style from 09 fall collection should do the job fine too!

Just let me be, coz the sept hols is coming to an end.
And im so not ready to go back to work yet... (stamping my foot)
Anywho, pictures below were taken from the last few days.
Oh, just let me be me!

some recent medical research highlighted the side effects of wearing contact lenes
so here i am don in my greenie lacoste, truthful bumble-bee specs and birkens bought in Germany, getting ready to tear down the shops in CWP. (omhh, i like the way my naked face sparkles under the light)

i could smell the durian aroma even before i reached the store; puffs and chess mooncakes for the families

the pretentious driving though the F1 rally street last nite when we were on our way home

i simply have to buy this! Isnt she chic? Worn them for the first time when i was out having my haircut today

im so into gold these days; meet the shoes im going to wear for the next 10 weeks in school, and do excuse my #1, she is just trying to seek attention from the owner.
I was at UNISIM yesterday as the set books for the coming module are finally available. As much as im trying to save $$$ by not getting kinsella's new hardcover, i spent $40 on these. (booboo)

bought this gorgeous full length frock from metro, very much greek inspired which i really like. But gosh, i cant think of a single occasion i can wear it though, coz its alittle too dressy.
Meet #1 again, i bought her out shopping today, and hey, she just made a new friend!

Was spent finishing up my ECA in between hours spent in school checking the radios for the coming PSLE LC, and meeting the colleagues for lunch at CWP Crystal Jade.
And here i am feeling absolutely high, that i have finally have it uploaded to the blackboard at 23.52pm when the cut off time for it is 23.59pm! Phew.
Nevermind whether i have answered the question correctly, and that my argument is not strong enough, im just glad its over and done with.
On a sidenote, now that the trip to EE or Spain might be canceled, the HB has been so lovely to suggest a Chanel GST or cambon. Woohoo!

Oh right, my #1 has finally touch down our sunny island.
She is white, medium size, double flap, caviar and pretty much pumped up with just my wallet, car key and cellphone.
But. She is soft, so soft that i can hug her to sleep every nite!

Hmmm, as much as i really adores Yancci And Loewe (well who dun? I mean their nappa are so buttery!), i thought Czech and Poland are equally attractive.
Poo, so many options, so little $$$, im officially lost.
Or maybe i should just settle for good old LA.
Its time to give the guys a visit at the city of angels anyway.
And oh, no monograms of any sort this time round.
(Not even coach i promise the HB, even if they need to drag my body to the Primm)
Its purely a final trip before we embark on our Plan B in secret.

I know im in serious trouble when my fingers start to itch.
On most days they stop after a couple of low cost splurge.
(u know, like a dress or two, or even a packet of fisherman's friends and whatnots)
Nothing critical ever happen and i can always justify for my spending.
I shop everywhere, so long as its a great bargain. Had even bought myself a new water tumbler from school last week. In exchange of $18.50, i got myself an extra 2 litre of water each day.
Did you know how proud i was as i walked myself out of the shoe boutique last week? When the oh-so-perfect-for-school pumps were on 44% off, and were practically begging me to bring them home.
Gee, didnt know i am strong enough to do that. smile
But its going to be real tough this time round.
After missing Gac's Paris trip a few weeks ago, the opportunity came knocking into my head again.
PFL is coming back to SIN end of this month and offers to buy back The bag for me.
She is making me all itchy, and had spent the whole freaking day checking out the 2009 winter collection.
On a sidenote, if only she can also bring back the camellia flops and ear studs as well...
(Hint Alex, its a very obvious hint...)

Seriously, i can count with just one hand as to when i get to knock off work before 1pm on days.
Which is why i adores the exam periods, not to mention the lovely OE2 i get to partner with this year! Yay!
Ahywho, its barely after lunch when i reached my folk's place.
After the usual catching up over brunch, i was staring hard at the unsightly toe nails of mine.
Its been awhile i have them shaped... So they are now all smooth and yummy.

OPI's DS Reserve; do pardon the fat toes; the nailarts on both toes are free
Am never a fan of pastel pinks on the nail beds. But this made my skin so much fairer!
I love it when i dun have to work on weekdays, okie, maybe for half a day!
And the parents and i will be catching "Where got ghost?" tomorrow afternoon.
How cool is it? Grin

The HB was so sick that he was ordered to stay home for a couple of days by Doc Chong.
It seems like the flu bug is hitting us real hard.
Even my own temperature hits a high of 37.8C for the past 2 days as well and i have been popping the flu medicine, praying it will just subside slightly.
Hey, im not being social irresponsible. Its just that there are 3 events on hand that i need to plan; The coming Teacher's day, Children's day and the end of the year D&D. Gosh, am i soon a qualify event organizer!?
Anyway, back to the surprises.
While the man was still snoring hard this morning, i was up and ready for a brand new day at 7.30am. To be honest, half of me just wanted to visit the doc and take a day or two of rest. But i cant. There are simply too many things that requires immediate attention, aka by today. Was still in my 'half sleeping mode' when this woke me up, immediately!

the tiny diamond from my wedding band was missing! And so we sent both bands for a re-polish at the same time
It must had came off when i dropped it on the floor accidentally last nite. Was so dizzy from the flu medication that i couldnt even placed my ring properly on the dresser before showering.
As much as i should wake the HB up, i didnt. Cant bear to disturb his well-deserving sleep.
And oh by the way, laying practically flat on the floor trying to locate the wee stone was no fun. I even ended up 10 mins late for the morning meeting.
And so when i told the man about the ring in the evening, he said we should go repair it immediately. He needed to replace the broken car key anyway. All the 'bling bling' showcase in goldheart marina square are making me all excited. Though the man said i could pick just one as a gift for the coming anniversary, and as much as i was oh-so-tempted with one particular solitaire marked down by 40%, im so proud i didnt. Coz its high time we start saving up for our 'Plan B'. (grin)
I had been wondering why was the man grinning to himself non stop the entire night. Till i found this in the storeroom when he told me there was a surprise waiting inside.

he got me this! Look how gorgeous the thumb drive is! Apparently the postman woke the man up this morning when she sent up my 2 dresses from ebay UK

the 2 frocks at only 5 pounds each, but somewhat a little too big; HB got me an extra data cable as well; meet my LG family
Its been such a happy day. If you dun remind me of the lesson plan i need to submit for next week observation, and TMA02 is due next tuesday.

while having dinner at xinwang
Shall end the entry with this!
so cute right? i almost couldnt bear to eat it!

Time is getting so short these days! I dun think i have the self indulgence to blog daily anymore.
Its always uploading all the pictures to photobucket first and blogging about them later over the weekend.
Anyway, much happened over the week. So lets get down to business!
Last Sun, the family met up to celebrate mum's birthday. Had wanted to make reservation for the Carousel, but can u imagine the place was fully packed for the day? Gosh.
So Philip made the reservation himself for Sakura when Mum suggested the place after seeing so many adverts on the telly. We were all so looking forward to it. Didnt even ate much the entire day. I vividly remember they served pretty good sukiyaki.
But the place has lousy parking service. Its full, yet cars were still allowed to enter. Both Philip's and HB's cars rounded the shoebox size carpark so many times we gave up and headed for Causeway point instead.
We were so hungry by then, would had eaten anything. So long as there were seats for 6. Ended up eating at Sakae Sushi instead. (roll my eyes)
While we waited and waited
The colleague who has been my recent Hello Kitty's Santa Claus came to the workstation on Mon yet again with another set of facial tissues.
They were cute as buttons!
so cute right?
We visited Kenny on Wed after work. The poor guy was warded for an operation. Security is so tight at the hospital and i worn a mask for the first time! Stayed with him for a couple of hour before popping by the nearby Eastpoint for late dinner.
Its Sakae sushi for the second time in a week!
droopy eyes, flabby arms, ugh, when are all these fats leaving me for good?
Its my "white top" week, i was clad in white the entire week for work. Worn the newly bought VS eyelet top to work on Thurs along with my recent purchase from ebay; A pair of really chic winnie the pooh earrings. But the top is a little too big. The HB thought so too. Well, i shall save it up as maternity wear then!

the kids kept staring at my earrings in classes; not the ideal top to wear for work
The school celebrated National Day in advance on Friday. Started the day super early at 7am, and we ended on time at 9.30am. Seriously, I wouldnt be late, if not of the irritating car key. It broke into 2 when i was starting the engine. Ya right, a fab way to starts the day, wasnt it? I guess it wasnt happy to have to work its way to Woodlands at such unsound hour. The poor man had to drag himself from his bed to save the jittery me. Now we only have 1 key to share between both of us. Double Poo!
Its some 'me time' after lunching with my folks at home. Popped by the nearby Sun Plaza and spotted some adorable disney cushions. They will make perfect teachers' day gifts for my department members. I would had bought all 10 if i had brought Lace along. Managed to lug 5 home, and spent the whole of Saturday wrapping them.

from these to these; while the smaller peripherals are for close colleagues
Treat for Pop came as a form of bubble tea. Had this sudden craving for them since reading about it from

hey gal, sweettalk is still alright, (at least the one at Sembawang MRT station) if ur not picky!
Finally, i heart these long dresses i got at a steal. They are so oh-so-forgiving and Diane Von Furstenberg's inspired.
Now i just need a pair of Chanel Camellia flops to go with them!

no more sundresses, its long jersey dresses next! And my next pay check is going to this, i heard it is really hard to find!

Its Saturday officially. And here i am, in Don's room.
Coz after a long hot shower, we were simply too lazy to walk back home.
Some updates for the week:
Bought the HB the Samsung Omnia 2 from Spider 88 for his coming birthday pressie.
Annie and her staff are such wonderful sales peeps!
Though It has cost me a leg, (so much more than my LG Prada) im so glad he likes it!
Happy Birthday Love!

the first pic was taken using my prada while the HB took the second pic with his new cellphone, but i was too dead tired to pose
My VS loots touched down our sunny island on Wednesday, yippee yaya yippee yippee ya!
And i especially adores the crochet tank top in rum!

And my bling bling eyeliner, i cant wait too long to try this, really!

a colleague pop by with this, its too sweet to be used, so hands off!

worn the top i gotten recently from Girl2beauty for work on wed, gotten tons of compliments!
One even wants to buy it for herself. I like!

Finally; meet my overstuffed GM Tivoli; i deserved to be admonish for tortmenting it like that!

Well, i am absolutely not, technically, consider there is no mid year bonus. Ya, nata.
The pathetic salary of mine sure isnt enough to curb the shopping mood in me, especially in times like these.
When things are basically yoyo-ing the ups and downs. When are all these going to stop?
I believe in the silver lining and stuff. Lets just have some sunshine after the rain!
The weekend has been monotonous. Woke up late with a spitting headache.
The man has been so under the weather since the service ended on mon.
Feasting and shopping seem like a big no no in times like these.
But a tiny voice inside kept reminding me that i do not have enough clothings to go round for work anymore.
All the fuchsia and pinks i don for work arent suitable right now. We are suppose to mourn, and well, we are.
I just need to spend on something, to make myself feel better, and in controlled.
Most of the online fashion shops i know offer frocks which are just too short.
I need at least a 35" length to be decent. And still got criticized by many. (roll my eyes)
Chanced upon Girl2Beauty while ebaying the other day. And these got me hooked!

am crossing my fingers they fit
I dunoe about you, but i have thought victoria's secret offers very good clearance items at times.
A quick browse and i restricted my splurge to just a hundred buck inclusive of shipping.

they are all less than $10 bucks each!
U must have thought im a ding dong to go though the barney purple stage. But im not!
Besides the first tank top which i gotten at the exact colour, the puff sleeve blouse is in black, and the crochet racer tank in rum raisin.

i couldnt resist anything eyelet these days and the Heidi Klum glitter eye liner is only $2.99!
All im going to do now is to sit and wait for them to arrive.
And oh, have i already mentioned about the 2 vests i recently won on ebay as well?

Gotten my first touch screen cell phone last nite!
Im not going to tell u which model it is;
The only hint i can tell u is that it starts with the capital letter P.
And oh, does getting a NDS counted as a gadget too?
If so i have gotten 2 gadget this year!
- Mood:

Okie i cheated. Becoz i so wanted to get a new cellphone.
And Pop happened to be looking for 1 to replace his dying nokia.
So its simply logical to swap mine with his.
But the thing is, i havent bought mine yet.
So that means i just have to make do with his for the meantime.

So please meet Missy Pomelo
(nick given by the generous man)

from this

to this. Gosh, my face looks even rounder than ever! im trying to live with it, AM trying!

my man after his hair trim
Its been an interesting week dining with the HB.
Apart from the Vietnamese food at Suntec City on Thursday, we had HK local food at Marina Square last nite.
After our haircut today, its the usual Sakae Sushi for dinner.
And HB is going to make Italian pasta tomorrow!
At the rate we are eating, i am not at all surprise when i have difficulty pulling up my beloved skinny jeans from Moschino.
Dinner yesterday at HK restaurant:

my regular fish and egg mee sua, the man had fish soup noodle which is seriously yummy
We washed everything down with the usual yuanyang.

its my 3rd cup of caffeine for that day

meet the junkie and her man
Dinner today at sakae:
Am too depressed to pay much attentions to the cheerful plates running along the belt.
Update? The salmon seems longer than before, and the garlic rice is to die for!

serving seems bigger now that the coloured plates are priced higher.
Was doing my weekly google dancing when the eyes settled stubbornly on the LV Galliera, (yes again!)
As much as i was complaining about how tough the strap felt along my shoulder when i had the bag tried in Paris, somehow i feel it does oxidied beautifully.
And im really zealous when i declare the PM monogram galleria as the perfect bag for both work and weekend shopping. When the man caught me glued to the screen, he had hinted the upcoming trip to HK.
Oooh... but its my birthday soon too!
After chatting with Pals for Life (PFL) the other day, she mentioned about getting her second Chanel.
Good God.
Its the most coveted bag ever by the 2 of us, since we were in our late teens; when our common girlfriends started salsa past us with their cavier 2.55.
Shoots.
She bought her first jumbo a few years ago and i am sooo jealous! (if only i dun travel so much, she insisted)
Now with the stronger SIN currency and weaker pounds, she is thinking of getting a red lambskin.
Please let someone kind buy me a double flap cavier!

Coz moi just bought a pair of crocs from the school's external vendor.
Yup, your truly with a pair of black crocs! (will love to have the pair in red though)
Im never a fan before this coz they are honestly quite ugly looking. smile
The only time i ever visit their boutique in Marina Square was when i needed to grab a pair of cayman for pa.
But this pair with the a diamondate stud at each side looks pretty good.
Cant find the price of the pair on the local website as its newly released for the Spring/Summer 2009 Collection.
But i think its should be a steal at $50!
*Btw, i noe i dun need another pair of footwear. So quit nagging.

I know im suppose to work on my final tma this weekend, but honestly im still not ready for it yet.
Coz Good 'Saturday' was when we got married last year; except that Good Friday came earlier in year 2008. I so deserve a time out with the man i love so much first.
The HB woke up with a super growling tummy.
Well yesterday's dim sum brunch with Pop and mum was too filling; So much so that we could only managed toasted tuna sandwiches and instant noodles for dinner last nite.
We had wanted to drop by SA tours to check out their travel packages but HB thinks we should do it after my tma, so that i will have something to look forward to next week.
Alrite, and so plans were diverted to just window shop the whole afternoon away at suntec before popping by MIL's for her famous macaroni pasta.
We were being super adventurous - not wanting to have the usual sakae sushi or fish and co.
Had ended up at Pho House, a vietnamese restaurant tucked at the top floor of the tropics zone.

The man said we should try out Swiss Culture next door for their cheese fondue the next time
The set meal priced at only $13+ entitles us to a side dish, a beverage and a main dish each.

my iced coffee and HB's iced tea; we ordered another 6 pcs of chicken wings for $6 ( not so fab though )

the iced coffee simply yumz, but i kinda miss the dripping kind

the tasty salad and egg roll; chilli is a MUST try!

his chicken rice and my stew seafood rock big time
I think im seriously falling in love with the vietnamese food. They are so healthy and guilt-free!
And oh, how can the day ends without shopping? Bought the super pricey oxy mask and black head remover from Sasa.
I was in there initially just to get a tweezer for my bushy brows, but gosh, ended up $180 poorer.

lets just hope they are as good as they claim to be!
