HB was joking that we should have gotten the monogram series when we were in town the other day.
Can u imagine my disappointment when the entire PP was combed and there was no sign of a decent one, let alone a good mice?
As much as the Razor in pink looks ever so tempting, i say i can think of at least 1000 better ways of spending my $89.
Went home totally in a foul mood, empty handed and a growling tummy.
Dinner was alittle too light.
Gimme the seaweed french fries from Mcdonald anytime! I dun care about the FAT issue anymore!

U bet, no breakie at all coz the man was out even before i woke up this morning at elevenish.
Food was instant noodle and the apple crumble we bought yesterday at carrefour.
I hardly wakes up without the man watching the telly besides me, but he was up and out early today coz he was planning something really sneaky.
Hence, no food, no HB, no cheer for the whole of the sunday.
Except for the yellingS from the irritating neighbor next door.
Am finally done with the 2 reports i have been brushing off for the whole of this weekend.
Its tedious work and when the HB suggested me doing them on Friday nite, moi declined flatly.
I so deserve to just park myself in front of my current read then.
Not to mention the final paper which is coming up the Wed after this.
Plans were to start 'flipping' alittle this weekend, but i didnt even have the time to iron the man's shirts!
Fortunately he has a full month supply to get him going.
I will iron next Sat and starts the revision on Sun. I promise.
Alrighty, enough of ranting from the silly old woman.
So what is this sneaky project the man was undertaking?

the before

and the after; see how dark outside was after Lance is finally done up?!
So there, weekend gone with the wind.
We only have a meal today, and thats the packed rice the man bought when he was on his way home.
U tell me, why am i still so fat?!
- Mood:
cheerful
Hate waking up tomorrow. Hate the Monday Blue.
Hate thinking what to wear to make myself feel better...
Anyway, its been a lousy week.
With Pucci warded to Mount Pleasant for a nite on Tues.
Tons of exam papers to be marked over the weekend. Yada Yada Yada.
But the fact that i got to pick 2 PM figurines the HB bought me as our anniversary pressies never fails to cheer me up!
And we finally watched a movie after months of sticking to the DVDs.
MJ deserves better than the Blu Ray honestly.
Minus the fact the huge lady in front of me who was swaying along with all the songs i had to pat her on the shoulder, its a great show! Go watch it! If you a fan like me, or not a fan like the man.
Happy tots for the week:

met the gals for dinner last monday at New York New York AMK Hub

first up: 2010 members' only figurine; look how sweet the pout is

2nd: Bought the newer version of the O21, after all the in house discount provided by Jessie, HB paid only $61.10 for this

3rd: The man was rather skeptical that i might get a double of this, i swear i dun have this yet; look how the sandals resemble my Chanel

MJ tee from last nite's movie; coloured tights from PP Isetan; only $5 each!

lashes still very intact after a week!

some jealous freak scarred lance so badly he needs a new paint job soon; boo boo!
Shame on you, whoever you are!

Oh, its-so-addictive i just cant stop playing! (well the next TMA due date is postpone to another week!)
Anyway, its rather late when we decided to wake ourselves up this
The HB made us some super delicious egg and ham sandwiches since moi got the most you-cant-imagine paper cut from work yesterday.

the bil asked why am i wrapping my finger with a scotchtape, thats my plaster; meet my naked fingers, no wedding band and i left my solitaire at pop's place
We finally left the house at close to 4pm for somewhere at upper paya lebar.

The man kept asking where shall we go next for dinner. But the area is so remote. I tell you. The nearest mall is Singpost and its where i shopped at This Fashion, i mean, hello, its 50% storewide!

long skirt with this satin ribbon belt at $7.50
Anywho we had have wanted to catch GI Joe at Film Garde after a simple dinner at the foodcourt. But the next available time was 2 hours later. The HB didnt want to hang around the mall aimlessly, declaring we have shopped enough for the day. (The tyres had cost him a freaking amount already!). Left for home and here i am, preparing for my SIMS's attack.
Goodnite for now peeps!

a slice of cake and homemade cookies from my pupils' birthdays, so sweet of them right?

Time is getting so short these days! I dun think i have the self indulgence to blog daily anymore.
Its always uploading all the pictures to photobucket first and blogging about them later over the weekend.
Anyway, much happened over the week. So lets get down to business!
Last Sun, the family met up to celebrate mum's birthday. Had wanted to make reservation for the Carousel, but can u imagine the place was fully packed for the day? Gosh.
So Philip made the reservation himself for Sakura when Mum suggested the place after seeing so many adverts on the telly. We were all so looking forward to it. Didnt even ate much the entire day. I vividly remember they served pretty good sukiyaki.
But the place has lousy parking service. Its full, yet cars were still allowed to enter. Both Philip's and HB's cars rounded the shoebox size carpark so many times we gave up and headed for Causeway point instead.
We were so hungry by then, would had eaten anything. So long as there were seats for 6. Ended up eating at Sakae Sushi instead. (roll my eyes)
While we waited and waited
The colleague who has been my recent Hello Kitty's Santa Claus came to the workstation on Mon yet again with another set of facial tissues.
They were cute as buttons!
so cute right?
We visited Kenny on Wed after work. The poor guy was warded for an operation. Security is so tight at the hospital and i worn a mask for the first time! Stayed with him for a couple of hour before popping by the nearby Eastpoint for late dinner.
Its Sakae sushi for the second time in a week!
droopy eyes, flabby arms, ugh, when are all these fats leaving me for good?
Its my "white top" week, i was clad in white the entire week for work. Worn the newly bought VS eyelet top to work on Thurs along with my recent purchase from ebay; A pair of really chic winnie the pooh earrings. But the top is a little too big. The HB thought so too. Well, i shall save it up as maternity wear then!

the kids kept staring at my earrings in classes; not the ideal top to wear for work
The school celebrated National Day in advance on Friday. Started the day super early at 7am, and we ended on time at 9.30am. Seriously, I wouldnt be late, if not of the irritating car key. It broke into 2 when i was starting the engine. Ya right, a fab way to starts the day, wasnt it? I guess it wasnt happy to have to work its way to Woodlands at such unsound hour. The poor man had to drag himself from his bed to save the jittery me. Now we only have 1 key to share between both of us. Double Poo!
Its some 'me time' after lunching with my folks at home. Popped by the nearby Sun Plaza and spotted some adorable disney cushions. They will make perfect teachers' day gifts for my department members. I would had bought all 10 if i had brought Lace along. Managed to lug 5 home, and spent the whole of Saturday wrapping them.

from these to these; while the smaller peripherals are for close colleagues
Treat for Pop came as a form of bubble tea. Had this sudden craving for them since reading about it from

hey gal, sweettalk is still alright, (at least the one at Sembawang MRT station) if ur not picky!
Finally, i heart these long dresses i got at a steal. They are so oh-so-forgiving and Diane Von Furstenberg's inspired.
Now i just need a pair of Chanel Camellia flops to go with them!

no more sundresses, its long jersey dresses next! And my next pay check is going to this, i heard it is really hard to find!

Coz its the school hols already! (as if, actually i still need to wake up at 6.30am and work for the next 4 days till 5pm)
I guess it shouldnt be that tough since i had already survived the last 2 weeks of crazy marking, keying of SA marks and printing out of result slips. Nothing can be tougher than these
And so the stubborn me didnt want to hit the sack yet.
While waiting for the manicure to dry, im making up time by catching up on the gals' blogs.
The HB was saying while shaking his legs, that i can finally release the wild monster in me, after 10 whole weeks of insanity.
Ya right, as much as i used to be the colour monster during the younger days, im doing my nails just this reddish colour with a slight hint of wine tonite. Especially for my promotion ceremony tomorrow.
Im feeling a tab tired now, after waiting like for forever for the nails to dry in the aircon room.
Some food shoots taken while lunching at the Tampines 1 earlier today to end the entry:

the chiangmai mango salad is a must ordered; his yellow curry chicken laska

mine glass noodle soup with fish; my man and his lunch
me in my suffering wardrobe.
To sidetrack alittle, it took me a holly s*** 30 mins to pull out something decent to wear just now.
The monthly wardrobe decluttering proves to be way too efficient.
I ended up with nothing fab to wear these days. The tee i was wearing is like from years ago i think!
I realised its been awhile since i went shopping. And so its high time i do some happy retail therapy next weekend!
We didnt planned on going out initially as the weather is sooo hot these days.
But as im driving to work alone for the entire week, the HB needs to fills up the gas tank for me.
Im simply no good with gas stations and paying the bills. We detoured to the nearby Tampines to check out Uniqulo, i would say i prefer H&M anytime though.
The man was complaining about his growling tummy but with the crowds at Manpuku, we settled randomly on Thai Express. Service here is top notch! Btw!
Oh god, its another 4 hours before the day starts for me.
Time to hit the sack peeps!
I was so busy with all the term end work that i didnt have the time to blog about this. (which happened last friday at around 6.50pm when i was driving on CTE towards the city)
But still, i emailed a complaint letter to their customer service the very day in regards to their drivers driving with the intention to create traffic hazard.
But can u imagine them replying me that the company do not have any taxi registration number under the carplate number i took down? She even wanted me to provide them with the colour of the taxi... So am i colourblind or what? Arent they all beige in colour?
I replied wanting her to provide me with any form of search engine that i can do my own checking. But she decided to ignore my request totally. So. This is the kind of first class service i get.

So the plan is pushed to after Good Friday.
And Pop said maybe we should just have dinner in SIN instead. Sigh.
And so, the HB and i woke up super early today (at 6am) to fetch his folks for Qing Ming. (we were supposed to go on the 12th initially) After a couple of usual wrong turns we reached the place slightly before 8am. It was supposed to be crowded since today is officially the first day of the festival, but the place was surprisingly deserted. Breakie was at the nearby lakeside hawker centre after and the weather remained scotching hot for the rest of the day.
Its barely 11am when the folks were sent home and the HB decided to pop by his usual car workshop. Lance was sent for a thorough check as the man has been hearing this funny sound whenever he drives.
(i havent, and he says bcoz i regards Lance mainly as only a transport - duh)

spotted the man? hes the one in purple and red
We reached home around 1pm, with the sun baking down my throat. While the poor man napped the afternoon away, i spent the whole time playing on my DS. Im pretty hook to "7 wonders of the ancient world" ,"Big Brain Academy" and believe it or not "Hannah Montana"... (blushed) Anyway, the week has been pretty hectic, with me exploring the new toy. And Don has been real kind to apply a new theme for me. So now, the DS looks like this:

im looking for a Kuromi stylus to match this!
Mum came back with a couple of new work wear for me.
Thanks mum, you are always the best personal fashion buyer i ever have!

2 cotton tops very much similar to the ones i bought from H&M and a black underdress for the oh-so-sheer skirts
I have been itching for a pair of Coach sneakers ever since i net surf its website awhile ago. In fact i have even pay a visit to their branch at NAC last week wanting to give it a try. The man thought the Joss series in Grape looks fab, but they dun have my size anymore and i wonder why. I mean i have really huge feet (im a size 9.5), and never encountered difficulties getting my shoes till recently. (the last one was the pair of pearl pink Ferragamo Varina i wanted for my wedding)
Anyway, i ebayed for them and got a brand new pair from a power seller at a steal!

While SIN is selling the exact pair (not in my size though) at app $248, its less than $200 inclusive of shipping from States!
The afternoon sun had been most terrible on me. I can still feel the heat in my body now, while downing the chysanthemum tea the HB made. Please, i dun wanna get sick!
- Mood:
weird
I love Sat the most. For i can sleep late, eat as much as i can, and no jogging at all!
The BIL woke us up early as we had wanted to meetup to give Lance a good wash.
But the weather looked awfully bad.
The man was telling me about this momo steering wheel he saw on ebay, but its going to cost us our legs to have it shipped in. And he had tactfully mentioned about this lobang he has, which is only half the price and the seller is a local. After his first momo steering wheel was sold along with Melgen, i have sort of forbid him to invest in car accessories of any sort.
But i was in a fab mood, i guess. And so gave him the go ahead.
He arranged for the meetup with the seller immediately. Before i know it, we were on our way to chinatown(thats how scheming the man is!) Even Don who joined us later was puzzled by the sudden change in me. Duh!
Both the man and i had no food for closed to 18 hours, minus the buffet at Guo Fu the nite before with the rest of the family after MIL's did her checkup at the SGH. And i was super hungry.
The first bit we had was at Singapore Post's Subway at 4pm, after we had the steering wheel changed at a recommended garage.

yesterday's meal vs today's

the thing that made me went hungry - his momo evo 8 steering wheel
Since we were already at SingPost, i had 'asked' for some timeoff to checkout the This Fashion. I like them for workwear honestly. Cheap and good enough for work!

the first 2 are from This Fashion - at 40% off, they are only at $35! this is the dress i bought online recently, but its too short!
finally, our europe montage is up!

Seriously, i shoot big time when it comes to parking, let alone parallel parking.
(ya, u may think im the savvy ah lian driving - actually i bluff)
Im really bad with maneuvering the vehicle within a small compound.
It doesnt help that for the past few years, the lots in school are getting tighter.
Colleagues are buying bigger and bigger cars - should i say wagons?!
In fact i was one of the first to snoop to 'illegal' parking along the yellow lines.
And always felt uneasy coz its not right lah.
This year, it is worse; even the illegal street is packed to the max most days.
Its no good, especially today.
I had lance parked in the middle of the one way street, knowing how the Am teachers would grumbled like crazy when they need to leave
The kind OM had offered me his parallel lot when he was leaving for his Friday prayer.
But im just so no good with parallel parking.
The loser-me had to leave the car key with him so that he could do the parking for me before he left.
Gee, this is really embarrassing - who will believe that i have been driving since 20 years old?
- Mood:
embarrassed
They are just too hard to be tame, especially when one's in a rush.
Msg my colleagues to let me know where to meet for the morning meeting while waiting for the engine to warm up.
Its slightly after 8.15am when i reached woodlands.
A colleague was swaying her way into the school compound with her earphones plugged in her ears when my car took the turn into the main gate.
Little did i know she decided to stop suddenly to coil back her earphones and i literally bumped into her.
Its fortunate that the car was travelling at only 10km or something, and no harm was done, except for this huge braking sound.
Luckily she is alrite, and Lance is okie.
Phew, i better start paying more attention while driving.

thankful
Dear Uncle Driver of car plate number G*103*
You know something Uncle, many things do require patience.
Especially when it comes to driving on the road, when lots of pupils were just out of school and ready to go home.
Judging by your look, i assume by your age, that you have been driving for MORE years than i do.
Blame it on your failing memory whatsoever, or maybe you do need to sign up for a refresher course-
Vehicles DO need to stop AFTER the green arrow to turn right has stop blinking.
And so do i need to remind me that your blue lorry was in fact behind me?
And that i was suppose to turn before you do?
Im not saying im a savvy driver, nor one who does not respect the old.
Afterall, im a female driver, as what most drivers would have stereotype.
But if not of my checking the rear mirror before moving off, we would have collide.
And thats not a pretty sight. i can ensure you.
Maybe you are trying to show off your driving skill to the young chap sitting at the passenger seat.
( I know coz i had drove to your side and stared dagger at you all the way to SLE.)
Or maybe you were too engrossed with your driving skill that you failed to sense my tiny Lance?
But im sure im close enough, coz i could even see the smoke coming from your ciggies.
The F1 had ended successfully last week, fyi, so quit thinking you are whoever whoever.
Coz after all, you are just a lorry driver, and can never be a match to a car.
Uncle, dream on your dream, nobody is stopping you.
But do spare a thought for the other drivers on the road.
Afterall, we treasure our lives more than you do.
Oh, by the way, i do have your car plate number dropped down somewhere.
So i beg you: Listen to a younger (female) driver's advise - Drive with a heart.
May Peace be with you.
The Lancer driver you were trying to monkey with this evening along Woodlands.
- Mood:
calm
I cant imagine it has happen three times for the past few days...
The first one was on Monday morning, when everybody was clearly still in their Monday blues.
I could barely bring myself to work when i spotted the speeding car at my rear mirror along BKE.
The tiny Honda Fit kept so close to me that i could see his face clearly.
I had signaled and filtered to the second lane.
But the stupid driver remained close to my butt, almost banging into my car boot, before speeding back to lane 1 via lane 3.
Thats my first morning call for the day.
Later that evening...
I was on my way home at CTE AMK, a Honda Civic basically struck its bonnet at my boot.
With the car jam snaking all the way from Woodlands, the cars were already not moving fast enough.
So whats his problems?
Then this smart-alex driver decided to switch lane when he realised my lane was not moving.
But the car just stopped midway in the middle of the second lane suddenly, with the cars who were minding their own business behind him to bump into one another...
The final one came this morning when i was about to reach school.
This Mercedes cab ( in which i had took down his car plate number ) was basically staring from his side while we waited for the green light.
He picked up his speed from behind after filtering to my lane.
I have always experienced fab service from Mercedes cab drivers previously.
And so i just dun get it when he decided to follow behind so closely, even after i switched lane.
And just drove in front of me, taking his own sweet time.
I was so pissed that i had stepped on my accelerator and just drove along with him at the next lane, staring dagger at him, while he took a smoke.
So what is wrong with these driver?
Im definitely not hogging the road. (coz im a regular 1*0km/h driver)
Actually im pretty okie with driving, have my license since age 21.
Im just no good with parking lah!
The HB said thats coz im a female driver.
So what is wrong with being a female driver?!
